Presto brings together a team of seasoned professionals with over 100 years collective experience in IT  recruitment in NZ, Australia and the UK.

We have extensive knowledge gained through in-house resource management for large, complex public and private sector organisations, systems integrators, and software vendors, and as senior professionals in specialist recruitment agencies.

Campbell Hepburn

General Manager

Campbell has 20 years’ experience working with New Zealand employers and diverse candidate groups, and has thrived upon exposure to the diversity in people and business. He has joined the Optimation Group to lead our resourcing arm, Presto Resourcing Options (PRO), following senior roles with Beyond Recruitment, H2R Consulting and Hudson.

Campbell has a strong interpersonal style and takes the time to learn and understand the organisation he is working with. He is committed to finding tailored resourcing solutions that are right for business needs, and is focused on practical outcomes. 

Justine Alexander

Client Manager - Wellington

Justine has over 15 years of ICT recruitment experience in New Zealand and Australia. She joined the Optimation Group after five years with Hudson in Wellington, first as a Senior Consultant and then as ICT Team Lead. Prior to Hudson, she was a Senior Consultant in the ICT Team of Icon in Melbourne.

Justine has worked with both private and public sector clients to manage requirements across the full ICT spectrum, from first level Help Desk Analyst through to Senior Management roles.

Tim Green

Client Manager - Auckland

Tim has a wealth of recruitment experience with 20 years in total advising, training and consulting for the Australasian Finance, Business Management, and Education and Social Science sectors.  Of those, 5 years in the Auckland and Wellington Recruitment Industry specializing in the Accounting, BDM, Business Intelligence and IT sectors, with a national focus delivering both strategic and tactical client focused RPO services to complex organizations in environments of growth and or significant change.

Tim loves NZ;  both the wine and the language. "Yeah eh yeah, I know we speak English here, but what I’m getting at is the accent and all our crazy New Zealand slang, it’s awesome! The BBC did a survey and the Kiwi accent has been rated the most attractive and prestigious form of English outside of the UK, even above the Queen’s English, choice bro! As for slang, as told by John Key on the David Letterman Show “Get the whanau together, stay in a Bach, crack open the chilly bin and slap on your jandals” – decipher that and you are either born here or married to a Kiwi, Yeah right!"

Just to keep life interesting in 1996 Tim won “Restaurant of the Year” at the National NZ Culinary Fare and continues as a Head Judge in the competition.

Gareth Smith

Client Manager - Auckland

Gareth has more than 20 years experience in IT Resourcing, both in the United Kingdom and within New Zealand.  Gareth has worked both as an agency consultant and also within two large software hourse.  This balance of internal versus external perspectives gives Gareth a deeper understanding of the necessity and responsibility of hiring the right person. 

Gareth believes that recruitment is like IT - it is continually evolving and the only certainty is if you don’t have the right people you won’t be successful.   He is motivated by clients who want and expect the best where he can use his knowledge and networks to give them people they need to exceed their goals.

Dhruti Desai

Resource Coordinator

Dhruti  has 7 years of experience working in India, Singapore and New Zealand with in-house and agency IT recruitment. She holds a Bachelor of Science in IT and a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource. Her expertise lies in sourcing, selecting  and securing top-notch candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter. She has worked on concurrent requirements across multiple technologies and locations including South East Asia and USA. In her current role as a  Resource Coordinator, her focus is end to end Candidate Management including souring and shortlisting, interviewing, co-ordinating and tracking applicants, reference checking, and building strong referral networks.

Alice Walker

Resource Coordinator

Alice has experience working in both in house and agency recruitment.  She is a recent university graduate with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Human Resource Management.

Born and bred in Wellington, Alice enjoys learning more about the technology market and meeting highly skilled candidates and aligning them with opportunities to fit their career paths. Alice enjoys the pace of forever changing IT technologies and enjoys the thrill of sourcing candidate through passive channels and building relationships.  

Sam Hooper

Resource Coordinator

I have had a number of roles throughout my career - all of which have been people facing.  Prior to IT recruitment I was recruiting doctors within the DHB environment. These hard to source roles were both fast paced and challenging.

I have an eye for getting good results for my candidates and get a great deal of satisfaction placing the right person in the right role.

Megan Campbell

Human Resources Consultant

With 15 years’ experience in Human Resources, both in-house and as a consultant, Megan understands business drivers' well.  With a pragmatic approach Megan draws on her wealth of experience to find a right sized solution for any people related conundrum for our Presto clients.   

Megan a certified SHL/CEB Psychometric Assessor able to support you from test selection through to customized reporting and follow up development coaching. She is experienced across all facets of HR from workforce planning, on-boarding, development, performance management through to coaching and team facilitation.
